Ayurvedic Cooking Class

We’ll cook dinner while learning about Ayurvedic traditions and nutrition, complete with a slide show about the Vata Dosha, the dosha of fall/winter. Our Vata Dosha can become out of balance as the weather turns cooler and more dry, and the Ayurvedic principles of cooking mindfully can help to counteract this. This class will include salmon and tofu, along with legumes, vegetables, Ayurvedic spices, and a whole grain carbohydrate.
